Hi guys. I'm going to start posting on arrrt.io and Newgrounds now since they have banned AI art(newgrounds has some caveats but they are reasonable). Feel free to follow me there. Hopefully some day dA gets their shit together and decides humans are more important than profit. It sucks because the vast majority of my followers are here... https://www.arrrt.io/Charongess https://charongess.newgrounds.com/

I never thought I'd be that artist, the one that abandons the entirety of their work. I had seen it time and time again with other artists I follow. Their work, eventually trickling to a halt. I always wondered why this phenomenon happens but I never had the answers. All I can do is explain why it happened to me. Over the years I had been struggling with this style. I had no idea how to market myself as an artist, I'm not sure if I even wanted to, and my style had no direction, no focus. After all, this work is my coping mechanism, my darker self. By the time I reached a point where I realized where I wanted to be, I was faced with the jarring reality that I had already taken on a completely different style of art that was quickly becoming my full time job. I was finally making money as an artist. I was and am finally paying my bills and living without the impeding stress of financial ruin. But, something kept haunting me. Browsing through the endless expanse of social media I

I had an account for a while that I had accidentally left as a personal account and largely neglected. I've spruced it up a bit and re-activated it if anyone is interested. I'm thinking my focus is going to become more-so dark art rather than fantasy. I tried making happy stuff for a while, largely due to pressure from people constantly telling me to make happy stuff more. It was largely unfulfilling. So, here's my insta. Thanks for all your support! https://www.instagram.com/lanaasy/

Hello! I found you first on FA but realized you're not active there anymore. Luckily, you seem active here, so I'll watch. :D

I admire your art! All this surreal and fantasy-inspired content, and how beautiful your brush strokes are too. There is so much movement and emotions visible. I love it!

Mesmerizing gallery (O__O)

One rarely sees Death, Disease, Pain treated with such interesting angles & lively colors :)

Your ability to play on curves is especially appreciated on "rigid" subjects such as bones and skeletons.

Thank you for sharing, cheers ;)

I couldn't have described my work better. Thank you!

You're welcome :)

I would kill to see you at work in a speed painting... :omg-whut:

Lol I don't think I'd do too well. I have the attention span of a goldfish XD
